is it hard to reseal a sink to the underside of granite?

Looks like my sink is starting to lose contact with the granite. It's a deep sink that is cauked to the underside of the granite. Can I do this myself or should I get someone who knows what's going on to come in?

I would think there is more than caulk/silicone holding it in place.
I know in my bathroom undermount sink there are brackets that slid into grooves the installer cut in the granite.
I'm the kitchen the sink is sandwiched betetween the plywood deck and the granite on top.
What makes you think it is coming apart?

DIY - crawl underneath and take a look
It's fairly simple, brackets or wood holding the sink in place and silicone between the two.

I had the same issue with my last house. A patient of mine that sells quartzite gave me the name of the dude that installs his sinks.
IIRC, his name was Blake Williams and he did a bang up job reattaching the sink to the granite.
I'm glad I didn't attempt that myself as it was a tight space to work and looked pretty tough to do if that isn't your primary line of work.

Believe it or not they are held up by some serious glue. Find that, apply, shore up with 2x4's, let set and be happy. I just don't know what the adhesive is called.

Found this piece under the sink (top pic). Looks to be attached at the spot in the other pic. Then I have a pic of one that's still on there. It's missing in the middle. Do I just silicone the piece back to the granite? And then also reseal b/w the sink and the granite?

I would leave a piece of 2x2 wedged underneath there to insure it will never sag or come apart.

Probably liquid nails or other badass adhesive. Not silicone.

There is one screwed into the cabinet on the front side of the sink. Nothing on the back though. Would have to cut a piece to screw into both sides of the cabinets in the back.

Mine also failed and I found the Hercules Sink Harness. Installation was not terrible with help from neighbor to hold sink up etc. you can get on Amazon for about $20. Don't think I'll ever have a problem with sink breaking loose again. You basically have little wire cables that go across corner to corner that you tighten and it holds the sink up. There's a video on their website explaining step by step installation. Braxton-Bragg.com

I'm not sure, when we had our granite installed, the guys left the wood wedged in there until the adhesive and everything dried. He said I could remove it or just leave it. I just left it because it's not really in the way, and it's peace of mind that the sink can never drop down.

Prolly run to lowes and see what they have... try to re attach that little bracing deal with something. I think it may be a piece of granite or something similar. Wasn't a brand new house when we bought, so I'm not sure what it is. I'll try to do it myself and wedge a 2x2, if it doesn't hold I'll call someone who knows what is going on
