the spoonies I shot in the rice fields were full of rice...they taste different than the ones I shot down in the marsh...I was speaking about the ones I shot in the fields...is there a problem?

No normally spoonies in rice taste pretty good. I like them. Pull some breast feathers off if the breast is red will be iffy if nice white breast like ur other ducks eat away.

Nice buck! Way to hold it down with your boot!

My 8 year old girl had a 5K in Lafayette this morning. Son and I hauled arse to north La as soon as it was over.

Simsboro, La

Huge arse box stand on pipeline
.270 savage w/ 150gr core lokt
Making a quick evening hunt today before going to Oil City to turn the dogs out tomorrow!

It rained here today and I saw at least 10 sets of fresh tracks crossing the road while I was walking in, so they're moving.

Saw 2 hogs on the side of the road less than 10 miles before getting here. We have never had hogs here before. Maybe one will try to cross this pipleine before dark.
