How in the frick is it the VICTIMS responsibility to pay a guy who bought the VICTIMS STOLEN property.

Surely to all that is holy you aren't that damn stupid.

I wonder how sympathetic he will be if somebody steals something from his 2nd home or $7500 deer camp. His post history says it all. He plays the "bad cop" in every thread he posts in.

I said it would be the right thing to do. It shouldn't have to be forced. I would have no problem making things right with someone in that situation. I like how everyone is leaving out the part where the guy fixed the op's pos generator. Different situations should be handled, well differently. The right thing to do would be paying the guy who fixed your shitty equipment, period.

No the right thing to do is for the criminal to reimburse his friend who he sold a stolen generator to. The right thing to do for the OP, is to get his stolen property back.

Ahh ok, so now we have to screen who we buy from? Gotcha

I know I know. We can start making sellers take a drug test and pass a background check before selling anything.

Good God you people are DUMB

you have confirmed just how truly stupid you are. You want a victim to reimburse someone for buying the victims property.

you must be a democrat. That's the only explanation.

I just live with morals and doing the right thing for people. If I bought something from someone, put time and money into it to fix it, then find out it's stolen and have it taken away, I would have no issue giving it back to the rightful owner, but I would expect to be reimbursed for the time and money I'm out for fixing their stuff especially when it's such a small amount. I expect it because that is what I would do.

by the criminal, not the victim. Your morals are misplaced

I found this very set up on public land a while back... Turned out it was a bunch of chinks trying to kill deer like they used too in Vietnam

You should expect that from the criminal. He is the one that sold you stolen property.

What do we owe him, like 4 bucks? What is the warranty on unauthorized repairs done to stolen merchandise? MS prob has a law for shite like that, you have to excuse our ignorance on the policies involving third hand transactions involving pill and meth heads.
