I hunt in Cotulla, TX, which isn't as close to the border as Del Rio, we have found empty cans of food that are clearly from Mexico in the stands. I have never seen one while I was out on a hunt though.

I hunted with a friend who has a ranch along the border and has been dealing with "illegals" crossing the border through his property and were breaking into his camp while he was out of town and were raping some of the women in the town. This led he and his father to take matters into their own hands. They spoke with local law enforcement to cover their arse and were told if they followed the following instructions then law enforcement/border patrol would not ask any questions: 1) They must first ask them to leave their property. 2) If they do not retreat, they could then shoot them. 3) However the shot(s) must be lethal. 4) They must then toss them into the river or back across the border so that the bodies are not found on his property.

Personally I have no problem with "illegals" wanting to come over to America to perform legitimate work and become productive members of society. Unfortunately, 95% of the "illegals" who were caught coming through their property were loaded down with illegal drugs and other paraphernalia.

If you ask me I would follow the wise ole' cajun Troy and just "Choot Em'"

My dad and brother went hunting in south Texas about 15 years ago and the owner told them to always make noise when walking to your stand in the morning in case there are messicans in there sleeping. My brother said there was a windmill with a room under it that had empty cans of tuna, said they would spin deer corn out of the feeders, put them in the empty cans with water and boil it till tender. Every night they would get rid of the cans and every morning there would be new ones in there. They never say any people though. Must be nocturnal.

We use to have property about 25 miles from the border. The majority of them are just people looking for work, not trying to bother anyone. We would leave bottled water and canned food outside of the camp every time we left. We never had anything stolen or vandalized. We even got a few of them to fill our feeders for us for some canned food (lol). They put out about 3000 lbs of corn for some canned beans and a case of water.

It's a F'ed up situation. I really dislike/hate the fact that they come over here looking for work but also knowing they'll get free shite from our goverment(out of our pockets). Then at least half of them end up becoming pieces of shite because they learn that they can be free loaders.. Not saying some don't come for a better life and to work hard for money, but it's a toss up.. not sure what to think.

I hunted outside of Brackettville a few years ago. I saw several dozen illegals during the course of a 4 day hunt. We called the border patrol with GPS coordinates and everything. They indicated they were too busy to follow up..

This pic was taken of trash dumped by illegals in a well known border crossing in AZ. According to the State in some areas the refuse is upwards of 5 feet deep..

extremely skeptical of this

No way any law enforcement would be dumb enough to say this.

I hunt S Tx between Freer and Hebronville.
We leave everything unlocked, leave water available outside the camp houses and sometimes beans.

If you call the Border Patrol they will come by your ranch a few times a week. Once the Coyotes see the BP in the area, they will change the route they send the 'walkers' on. Most of them don't mess with anything and move only at night.

If you want the Muy Grande, you get the walkers too.
