If your talking about a high fence place in walker is down N Corbin, across from the school. Been fenced for a few years now, guy doesn't really keep the fence up to date, so I don't know how or what he does with the deer inside the fence. I have seen a lot of down areas, but I haven't been by there in a few months. I have seen plenty of deer in that area over the years, grew up right down the road. As far as quality goes, not much, you'll get a nice 120" every now and then, but there have been the occasional freak killed around that area. Oh yea, and lots of outlaws lol.

As a life-long resident of the LP, and from the walker area, i can tell you that there is not a 100 acre spot that is virgin hunting land. Only place i can think of would be more towards the Satsuma area or south of walker.
I think he is off of hwy 449

thats near where he was talking about, he said sumthing about the school, but he also said it was almost all surrounded by the property wit the fence. like i said, im not that much of a trophy hunter, i wouldnt mind killing a monster but my hopes arent too high for that.. i would like to hunt some land that isnt pressured too much, and if the outlaws arent too bad 100 acres is a lil chunk to hunt

That's a good area and it has deer, but I'll guarantee you the locals are hunting on it.

I'm sure your wife's pow pow means no one in the family hunts it and it's not leased.

Paint your property lines, put up posted signs and keep a presence in the area. There's so many trailer parks and WT nearby that it's almost impossible to keep them off your place.

he meant no one is hunting it legally... he also said he was sure some people did.

i believe there is a decent size lease where they have some luck on cane market (north side of road) just before the 449 intersection.

i am off today and headed to Gene's to buy my beer for game tonight. i might ride around and see if any deer are out and about in this cool weather. since i live in LP, gotta load the rifle up.

They have decent bucks in the area, but the # of 'necks and outlaws outweigh the potential. You can still kill decent deer there, but probably not any monsters.

I can almost guarantee you that that is not an accurate statement. You should add "legally" before hunted.
