I've always wanted a camp deep in the Atchafalaya Basin - Grand Lake, Bayou Pigeon, Sorrell, etc.

Are all of those camps on leased land?
Who owns the land?

Is there a website showing camps for sale?

Call the state lands office. They lease land for camps in several areas.

Just know that, in general, the canals are privately owned.

Lakes, in general, are owned by the state.

The camp lots around st mary / st martin parish on the Atchafalaya River used to be $100 a year and there were plenty.
