It isn't difficult but there is always some little hitch you will have to figure out. Your best bet is to hire a midget with little hands but long arms to climb under the counter and get it done.

The faucet is easy. Getting positioned under the counter is tough. Lots of cursing.

Basin wrench is the tits. FIL has one and he lives a mile from me. I have used his and when you need one you can't rig something to use - gotta have that tool.

I've never used one. After googling I'll buy one if I ever have to change a faucet.

I may buy it just in case.

Like I said earlier, get a good one. The cheap ones are all floppy and don't stay on the nut

House is 11 years old and they're Delta

Did you know that you can buy Delta faucet repair kits? Very simple to install in your existing faucets.

There's nothing wrong with the ones we currently have. We're just wanting something different

if you are talking about sink faucets, there is nothing really complicated about it...however, being a contortionist will help a lot...

one normal complication is that the small valves under the sink sometimes leak after you have turned them off and back on...I would consider either replacing them while you are working on the sink or just shutting the water off at the meter and not touching the valves under the sink at all...

whatever you chose, be sure you have the tools and the knowhow to shut the water off to the whole house if shite hits the fan...

Faucets are pretty straight forward. Like many have already said, reaching the nuts from underneath is usually the biggest PITA.

Fairly easy. Couple pairs of channel locks (small and large) and you're good. You may need some flexible hosing to get the piping to match up (I had to do this because the new faucet piping was longer than the original). If that is the case, I would get a flexible p-trap assembly. This changes the piping from the wall to the new faucet. Made mine a lot easier.

Same here. I had to look it up and hadn't ever seen one. Over the years I've probably changed out or had to unhook 100 faucets. Had I known about this tool I probably wouldn't have such hate for plumbing projects.

The faucets should be easy. If you want a real challenge try resetting a toilet.
