You can do this on a phone easily even without cell service. Tons of apps out there that will track course - will be very easy to do without his knowledge.

I've had it happen to me too. A fellow worker started buddying up to me and eventually got around to asking about fishing together. So, like a dummy, I took him with me to a couple of my favorite spots. After that, he became scarce. Found out later that he had heard that I was limiting out more often than not and wanted in on the action. Some friend!!! That's what I get for being open, honest, and generous. Won't be happening again, I promise!
