Ring neck drake. Scaup have a blue bill. Light white stripe on front of his bill gives it away,

It's not a ringneck, as it doesn't have the correct bill. I believe it's a Scaup (blackjack) hen.

Dos Gris hen, I'll put my hunting license on it. Have killed hundreds of them over the years.
Technically I believe Lesser Scaup Hen but may well be Greater Scaup hen won't bet the farm on that.

If you're on iPhone, there's an app for the lemaster method.
I have his book and it's very informative.
The app is 3 bucks and I haven't tried it yet
It has bill ID, wind ID and more if it's like the book.

Ringneck hen. The bill stripes are rarely as pronounced on hens as shown in the other pic posted.
