You should be able to take a ruler to the computer screen and measure the ratio. Use half of the entire roof to increase accuracy. I would do it but Im on my phone and have no ruler or tape.

Does the flat part in middle affect it?
As opposed to a point at top?

Yes just measure the angled part. Any portion will work since its a ratio

The pic is pretty straight. Just Use a protractor lined up with the bottom of the pic and the roof will point to the angle.

8/12, possibly 9/12 but no steeper

I figure material list for house plans everyday, it looks like a 6/12 maybe a 7/12 but no more. If you don't understand roof pitch that means every 12ft over it rises 6ft up.

The front of the roof may be a different pitch than the sides. Most newer houses don't have the same pitch on every side of the house.

It looks to be the same front to back as side to side.

Pitch Gauge is handy phone app if you deal with roofs often.
Use Pitch Gauge™ to calculate the total size and slope of any roof. It includes two digital slope finders and a square calculator. Find slope without ever leaving the ground using camera-mode. Then, take a picture with the pitch reading and current address stamped onto it, and attach it to an email for your own or the insurance company’s documentation.

Update
the elevations of the main central piece is 8/12. The front and bavk pitch of that piece is 7/12.
How much higher would the top point be if it were 10/12 (instead of 8) with front to back being 8/12(instead of 7)???

5/12 and that is not a flat portion that is just the ridge. That is a standard hipped roof in the front with a 4 or 5 ft ridge length.

Just guessing here, but if the roof show has 24" centers, and the pitch is 8/12, then it's currently ~9' high. A 10/12 would put it at ~11.6'.
It still looks 6/12 to me though, but it could be the angle. In that case, it's currently 7'.
