I saw the PP store is a dealer. Do they service them too?

Yup, just called up my buddy T-Ken. He said we service everything we sell, this ain't Walmart!! They are a full service center.

Good deal, ask for T-Ken and tell him Jacob sent you. He'll hook you up!

I have one and all I have ever done to it is change the blades. It's over 5 years old now and I think I need to change some rollers. I mow 5 acres with a 48" and it takes me around 2hrs. It's not just all smooth yard either.

We're on our second Kubota mower and love 'em. We have the diesel 31 horse with the 60" deck and cut about 5 acres.

I bought a Bad Boy and sold it to my dad. They have had no problems other than my crazy step-mom and her sister drive it full tilt at all times. They have blown several front tires on it. The deck is built like a tank!

Service sells. ...... go to the dealer closest to you that's been around the longest.

I love my Dixie chopper. I have 5.5 acres and some is wet in spring and those tires make a huge difference.

This. Who'd buy a car that nobody around could service?

I love my Kubota. Came with a 4 year insurance policy. No matter what happens, or what I do to it, for $250 that puppy gets fixed. Deductible never changes.

ETA: whatever you decide, go commercial.

worth every penny for the commercial mower. Ive got a ZG23 w/ a 54" deck I've had for 7 years cutting +/- 8 acres. Other than sharpening the blades, routine maint. I've never had a problem.

its not real accommodating on the beer drinking though.

With that much land, Id buy a commercial unit. Thats 5-10x more land than the Home Depot unit was built to cut, weekly

Nah. The commercial rigs are made to cut 60 hours a week for 8 or 9 months a year. I've never heard of any big name mower falling apart from one full day a week of cutting.

Maybe not one full day but a residential box store mower will not last a full summer cutting multiple acres. Why not buy commercial and have a mower that will last for years. Plus it minimizes the cut time.

I am also looking for a ztr mower. I have a budget of 3 grand and only have an acre to cut. Are the toro or hustler entry level mowers any good?
