anglers in the Windsor area are allowed to keep one muskie.

Dude should have just kept the fish. Big deal. Then paid a ticket later for keeping a fish that was to small.

The hippies in the boat are freaking annoying.

If they taste anything like northern pike, they're delicious.

I'm going to catch one of you sick bastards doing this to a saltwater cat and I'm videoing the encounter and then calling Operation Game Thief to collect some gas cash.

Fished Sabourin Lake in Canada this past fall for trophy northern pike 36"+. We were trollin top water plugs behind the boat that looked like large dildos with propellers on them! We're casting and retreiving also with the same style bait about 6-7" long... retrieve it as fast as you could, BAM, top water blowup!

Guide basically said they fish the same way for Muskie in other regions of Canada where they exist.

Musky have a sport fish mystique and its generally catch and release like billfish or tarpon. There are some real musky Nazis out there who only want C&R. They taste like northen pike which are ok when the water is cold but as but warms up they taste muddy. Some lakes its catch and release only or the is a slot limit (release the large females) w/ a harvest of 1 or so. I haven't caught one, they fight hard so Im told but not very abundant so low catch rates.
