What do y'all think? Startin to fill up my gun cabinet. Adding a gun every month or 2. What are the staples every gun owner should have in his collection? 870? 30-30? Pre-64 model 70? Just curious what everyone thinks.

I have some nice guns but the ones I always show most are the old guns that have been in my family a long time. Especially the old Marlin 336. I would start with a lever action and go from there.

It's going to be a sad day on the OB when you lose these in boating accident.

I'll move to a safe maybe once the kids are big enough to worry about getting into the cabinet. I've always liked the look of a cabinet in the living room. Always dreamed of having that once I had my own place, so that's exactly what I did.

If I had to choose just ONE gun to own, it would be that one.

I agree and would love to have really nice gun cabinet but would lose my shite if I lost some of my family guns because someone broke into my house and took them out of my cabinet. I would love to have a safe room built into my next house but don't think it will be in the budget
