Havnt caught many trout in a few weeks now they are scattered few and far between reds should be getting ready to come in they run hard in caminada pass and around the rocks a Fouchon if u want to catch Bulls not good to eat but fun to catch and beer drinking is easy when soaking cracked crab on the bottom.. Big weight circle hook and steal leader on 50 lb braid will do the trick if it is calm hit the rigs out of Fouchon for mangroves and may pick up a few trout out there also

How far out are the rigs and what do you catch mangroves on? We will have a flatboat and a 17ft key west bay boat.

I wouldn't do it in either one of those... maybe the key west... maybe... but probably not. we do it in a 22 foot bay boat and anything less than ideal conditions is miserable
