Dont really wanna take an ad out in the paper. Dont use LA Sportsman very often.... Their classifieds free?

LA Sportsman is free. But craigslist will have the most traffic, I'd think.

I'll sell used equipment on Craigslist every month. I've sold a few on LA Sportsman, I get more replies off CL though. Both FREE and easy!

I see people asking as much for well used equipment that you can buy new for just a little more.
I've been in the market for a 6x12 and figured I'd buy used and save some money...nope...people are asking almost new prices...not in a hurry, but if I don't find a reasonable seller, I'll just buy new for not much more.

Pawn Stars, ilk ruined shopping. Now, everyone sets their prices sky high in order to sell lower. They don't understand that turns away some buyers. Then, when people have legitimate prices, people want to undercut them by ridiculous amounts for some reason.
Tried to sell my old Tahoe for $9500, which was book value. Figured I'd take $9k at the lowest. Some jack leg emails me and asks if I will take $3500 for it. Same shite happened with my truck. Had it listed for $22k, and this idiot offered me $13k. Then, he tried to talk me into meeting him in the middle

sad is some people get that hard up on items and things and give away shite like that.

I bought 3 Calcutta/Falcon combos off their today for $350. Guy said he had over 20 people call after I did.
If you price it right, it will be gone by the weekend.

I blame all the buy/sell/trade shows for ruining classfied ads everywhere, plus the internet has given idiots a greater outreach for everything. Everyone things they can trade their junk for your stuff, or that they're automatically entitled to a bargain.
Post the trailer on Craigslist, LA Sportsman, and if you feel like sorting through dummies, some of those Facebook swap pages.

That's a deal, I need to add LA Sportsman Classified to my daily ritual of browsing for bargains for crap I don't need. A couple weeks ago I picked up a 7'6" Carrot Stix rod with a Curado, and a 6'9" Carrot Stix rod with a Quantum reel for $175. I really only wanted the 6'9" Carrot Stix out of the deal since I can only use lefty baitcasters and 7'6" is too long for my liking. So I sold the Curado/7'6" rod at Pack and Paddles gear sale for $150, then put the Quantum reel on a $10 rod I had laying around and sold it for $35. So I got a good rod practically free.

Not related, but i email 3 different people on Craigslist about an Iphone last night.
Received the same message from all three (supposedly different people).
"Sorry, I already sold my awesome Iphone. But you can go to BEEZID and get one on the cheap! Remember, BEEZID!"
TLDR - i hate classifieds these days....bastards.

Ha, that's one way to do it. I also picked up two Calcutta 700s on falcons from the sane guy. $425 for two combos. Pretty decent deals.
