was thinking craiglist, but do not see much of a market there
really dont want to go to a pawn shop
have a S&W .38 special +P(bought brand new, never fired) looking to get rid of.

I've bought and sold numerous things on La. Sportsman and never had any problems. Guns, 4-wheelers, boats,... you name it.

Bayoushooter generally has a better class of people, there are some hustlers on Louisiana sportsman, both sites are free
