That looks to be from the "TAG Louisiana" program, that I'm part of. I believe the reward is a shirt and a description of where the fish was originally tagged and his original size and weight. (assuming the tagger got stats on the red)

A couple a of years ago a certain someone caught a CCA redfish, clipped the tag off and tossed it back in the water

My son caught a tagged redfish last weekend in April, it was one of these tags, TAG Louisiana. Took info on fish and then mailing address for the t-shirt. Fish was released (15 inch) to be caught again, about a mile north of Fourchon.

If I had caught it I might have made more of a spectacle about the fish, it would have definitely been on the news. You're not far off though, very few people hate CCA as much as I do.
The guy that caught it just clipped it off and tossed it back. It was quite a few weeks later that I found out. He said "want to see something funny?" and pulled the tag out of his pocket.

my cousin won the truck last year. he said he shat himself when the bill came in for that truck, he had to pay something like 10k in taxes and fees according to him. that 10k from sportsman would have definitely helped

i caught a tagged trout last summer that was a TAG Louisiana fish. they sent a pic of where tagged, where caught, and by whom. i also had a choice between hat and shirt.

CCA fans are a lot like Mac users. They think their way is the only way and shite on people who disagree.
I think CCA is run by a bunch of money hungry frickheads and that's the end of it.
They can build all the reefs they want and have banquets until they run out of yetis, that doesn't mean I have to be interested.
