I can understand why you don't want them. We have mallards and instead of 30-40 hatching out a year were lucky to have 3 or 4 make it. Of course, if you lose a few during the year it doesn't take long to not have any ducks left.

One of the quickest ways to remove them will be simply trap them. Red's aren't that hard to catch and the kids generally love seeing them. Easier than trying to call them in.
