I'm looking for something along these lines. Seems like all the big box retailers have a cheap Chinese version of this seat. Are these worth a damn ? Curious if it's worth going with the premium version. I don't mind spending a bit more money if these seats hold up. Rather not have to buy new seats every year. Anyone have experience with these ? Im open to other suggestions too.

It might help if you let us know what type of boat it will be going on.

Generally speaking, you get what you pay for.

yep....salt or fresh water? Staying in sun or covered slip/trailer?

It should be fine either way with a steady dose of clorox cleaning and no baking in the sun all day everyday.

Sorry, boat is used in salt water and stored under a cover. I just don't want something that falls apart after a couple of trips.

We have a Tempress on our gator tail and it's the best seat I've ever sat on in a small aluminum boat. Extremely comfortable and I can put all my weight on it with no issue. Also all plastic so there's no metal or aluminum to corrode or what not. 5 years and it still looks brand new. It stays at the saltwater camp under a roof only.

Here's ours which is the high back. I'm sure they have a million different colors on their website

Gander Mountain in Auburn has a ton of these at different price points on the back wall marked down pretty good.

You have any pictures of them installed in your boat? I am thinking about adding them to the sides of my leaning posts in my xpress.

What will help is using 303 Protectant after every use of the boat. I use it on my bass boat seats religiously and the seats look pretty damn good after 5 1/2 yrs; no stains or tears or separation in the stitching.

Don't know but there not the folding kind. They came stock on my 2012 Lowe 175 Stinger but the boat on this link is basically mine & the seats are exact.

Cost over $1K to replace mine (8 cushions in all), 2 jump seats, leaning post/backrest, and front of console). Original cushions were 10yrs old. You get what you pay for...
