Good choice on the lumber and nice job. Prewash it a couple times a year and oil it two times a year or even more and it will last/look great many years to come.

Mine looks like shite after a few years. Trex composite decking. I think there are too many pines and it started getting black spots on it. Had to wash it a few times. It needs it again but i am so fed up with it I might rip it all up and put down wood.
