If you want an equally-sized 380 then check out the Kahr CW380. It has quite an excellent trigger for its size and is built well. Plus it has sights so it beats out an LCP.
If you plan to carry this in your waistband, I highly advise you look at some of the single stack 9mms out there.

Yep. Gotta be willing to experiment a little.
Most people will never need to use their carry gun. But if any of us were to suddenly need to, it'll probably be comforting (and might be beneficial) to have a moderate to full sized gun that holds an adequate amount of service caliber ammo.
p.s. Before it gets mentioned -- I'm not referring to combat, only to self-defense.
p.p.s.And this is just my $.02 worth.

I carry a Glock 19 and have no problems. Once u start carrying every day u don't even notice it
