Looks good. I really wish ammo was at plinkable prices for 6.8. What flash hider did you choose?

Nothing special. Just a stainless one. It isn't a compensator or a thing like that.

I think I may go fixed stock instead of the adjustable. Thoughts?

I like my fixed operator stock - but I haven't used adjustable stocks on any of my ARs

This one is more for hunting than just shooting. On my 5.56 I have an adjustable and it's great for letting my kids shoot. This gun will be a little too heavy for him to deer hunt with so the adjustable stock wasn't that important. Although he will be able to use before long.

Looks good. How did you decide on 6.8? I want to build something different next year on an AR platform and am considering 300 Blackout.

Didn't want a 5.56 as I already had one and at the time there really wasn't much discussion on a .300 blackout.
