Just wondering what is the OB's favorite/go to bait when fishing for redfish. I personally like the H&H spinner with 1/4oz jig head and the avocado with the red tail plastic minnow.

The gold spoon.... I have some that are hammered, looks like a golf ball on the surface. Kill them in Reggio and Delacroix on this. The green trout like them too

I'm still in the R&D stage I need to get a few more out there for testing purposes. Plus email Matrix and make sure they're cool with it.

That with treble hooks, unless there's grass.

Redfish don't really care. If the tide is moving, get the bait in front of them and they're generally gonna eat. If they don't want to eat, hit them in the nose with it.

Albino is my go to, but anything that imitates the local baitfish color pattern is going to be the best option

Texas rigged and fished weightless about 3" below the surface with a jerk-pause-jerk jerk-pause retrieve

3/4 oz. gold spoon. Easier to cast and you can throw it into the wing, and the larger size doesn't stop the bite or the hookup like many people claim. No trebles though. I used to throw the hell out of those things - even when they were piled up in a deep dead end canal and biting on dead shrimp, I'd still have to make some throws at them with the spoon "just because." I just like throwing the thing.

I stopped missing fish when I went from spoon to inline. Of course, there are places where a spoon is a must.
