Well in my experience hogs don't always die immediately from a gunshot, just as the hog did not die immediately from the gator. If it's unethical be killed via marshmallow/gator it must be unethical to die via human/corn.

You ever try to grab a pig in a pen? They make the same exact sound

No one is saying that death must be instantaneous for it to be ethical.

Man it's a nuisance animal wreaking havoc throughout the state. I mean I'm all for not making an animal suffer but in this case a gator got a meal. Yea so it wasn't completely natural but does that really matter? I'm just glad it's one less pig.

Nothing unethical about feeding a hog with a marshmellow, if it was smarter it wouldn't have fallen for the bait knowing there was a gator right there...

I'm all for killing pigs as much as the next guy, and will shoot one anytime the opportunity presents itself. I just believe that making the pig die like that just for the swamp tour is uncalled for. That's all.

There ya go. One less dumb pig on that property. It actually hurt the guide because now all the other cute little piggies will know better than to walk in the water.

I just didn't see the problem but apparently several of y'all do. It's all good.

Had the alligator been the one throwing the marshmallows in front of the pig, this argument would make more sense. That video was more in line with someone throwing corn out on the interstate so a deer would go out in front of an 18 wheeler.

I know this is a message board and it's here for people to sound off their feelings.
Having said that you keep denying the sound of the pig isn't what is so bad about this video.
I can promise you,if it had been snapped up,taken down without any of the other pigs there watching this video would not have even made it on the internet.

except 18 wheelers don't eat dear.
Look, those gators are the main attraction for the tourists. Them eating,no matter how is the main goal. Keep the gators fat and healthy and out in the main bodies of water so that they are easy to find day in and day out.

I'll make a note to take a video next time I have a litter of piglets in the headlock one-by-one removing their testicles with a razor blade and a pair of skinning pliers. I'll post it on the OB for a pussification purge.

To all who oppose, do you suggest I take the piglets to the vet, have them gassed and numbed with local pain killers, surgically remove the testicles, then suture the incision back up? According to the dumbassery here, this would be the only ethical way to prevent them from "suffering." I guess I should load them up on xanax to keep them from getting too anxious and worrying too much when I come into the barn prior. Wouldn't want to make them suffer emotionally.

To those who are wondering, the pig is back feeding after the procedure faster than you can catch the next one.

Sure, the sound is not pleasant, but it still doesn't have anything to do with my thoughts on the video. I was only arguing that this is a poor attempt at showing tourists the swamp. I'm sure a tourist from out of state would be pleased with a tour where they can look at hogs, gators, etc.. without what takes place in this video. That's what I found disturbing as I've said numerous times by this point.

Do you not think the guide told them about it before hand? They were all filming. What'd they think was gonna happen?
