ETA: If you were given an orange sticker, it may be more difficult to pass inspection. Sammich has a point though, this isn't the most discreet method to find a lenient inspection station.

Try NBR, too many cars up there with dark tint. Someone has to be passing them.

If you got an orange, don't think you can go anywhere else to get passed but that shop. I am pretty sure it is tracked in the computer.

Take the sticker off completely

I haven't had one for 3 years and I've been through several checkpoints with no ticjet

I know a place where all they require is that you show them your license, registration, and pay while their guy scrapes of the old one to put a new one.

There's your answer.

Many states don't use stickers. Cops don't look twice at vehicles without them at checkpoints.

Now, if you get pulled over...

It's $60 every 2 years to take the tint off and put it back on. If you want tint, just do that. Best bet though is go to the optometrist and get the slip that makes it legal for you to have it. Pretty easy process.

I know you can if it's been on there over a year.

Those orange stickers are awesome unless you hit a checkpoint because the color never changes.
