Face swollen from wasp sting?

Anyone ever had this happen. I was stung by a wasp on my fore head over my right eye and now my right eye is swollen shut. This is the reason I avoid wasps like the plague. Crazy thing is I was stung yesterday morning and didn't swell til overnight. This blows but at least it's now my peep sight eye lol.

God that looks like it sucks.
I've only been stung on the face once and that was on side of nose. Gave me a headache and made my eyes water like crazy so it looked like I was crying because I was-- that shite hurt.
Had no swelling the next day like you though.

Yea I'm waiting on the walk in clinic to open so I can see if there is any steroid or antibiotic they can give for this. Freaking 2 days til bow season.

I got stung on the ear and it quadrupled in size. I looked ridiculous. I went to the walkin clinic and got a shot.

Make sure that stinger isn't still in there. That will keep the reaction going longer.

Happened to me on my forearm a couple months ago. Took some OTC stuff and the swelling was gone in a couple days, but the itch stuck around for another day or 2.

Put a pinch of tobacco on the wound, or toothpaste, or both, and let it sit for a while. Supposed to pull the stinger out some kinda way.

i've been there, i was stung on top of my head, in the center, next morning barely could open both eyes, benedryl and chill!

The tobacco trick works to kill the pain but I think needs to be done right after you get stung. Break tobacco, spit on it/wet it if dry tobacco and hold on the spot where stung. I tried it a few weeks ago and it worked. ONe wasp got me on the ear twice and once on the neck.

Had one hit me on the cheek a few weeks back. Luckily it didn't swell up but it hurt like a bitch.
