Exotics Hunt

Guys I'm looking to book an exotic hunt for my birthday. I'm thinking probably Axis and probably the Texas Hill Country area, but I'm open to other areas as well. Any decently priced guide services out there? I'm not expecting YO or King Ranch type hunts or prices but I also don't want to feel ripped off.
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

I recommend going to TexasHuntingforums website and finding the guide forum and making a post there.

You can go off season and it's less pricey if hill country is what you want to do. They hunt year round. Axis shed/ velvet according to thier birthday and not the season too. So you can get a nice trophy no matter the season. Every time I've gone out there it's been cold weather and all I saw were in velvet.
MS has some axis hunt spots too, FYI.

Knuckle I should have started looking earlier. I see most of the places offer summer hunts that are quite a bit less than at other times. I've shot Axis around Midway and Rocksprings but that was during regular Whitetail season.

Two Brothers is in Louisiana. My brother killed a nice Axis buck there this year.
The exotics trip I took two years ago was at 9 Bar Ranch in Decatur, TX. Was top notch, and there were animals everywhere.

Ah, ok. Good deal. My brother works for them, so he got to kill a stud of an Axis this past season.

Which one is your brother?
Or he works for Gulf Crane?

If your brothers was in velvet and a little kid is in the picture with him I've seen it. That is a stud.

My brother is an engineer for Gulf Crane. That one couldn't have been his, because his wasn't in velvet.

Gotcha, I've most likely met him at some point
