NOW: balance your checkbook, keep the road I go to work on in good shape, make everyone in this country pay taxes, help those that truly need it learn to do for themselves, then shut the frick up about everything else. re: Hodges Garden State Park - knuckleballer
It was an old quarry and when that operation ran its course the family made formal gradens out of the land and made it a very nice family attraction. When the old man that kept it up died the family didn't want to keep it going and donated it to the state. The local community puts in volunteer work ...

re: Anyone put up bat houses for mosquito control? - knuckleballer
They have gotten into my HOUSE thru the chimney twice. They are around anyway. I back up to a creek and have had coons in my attic as well. Trapped them to extinction judging by not having trash all over the yard and not having a trap in months. ...

re: Time and temp for deer Cochon de lait style. - knuckleballer
Perfecto. It was a big hit! Watched the temp like a Nazi. Kept it around 225 for 6 hours. Internal temp was like 105. Checked it and then 250 for 2 more. I stopped at internal temp of 150. Went thru about 35 pounds of lump charcoal. Marinated in alegra 24 hours in an ice chest. Injected it. Put ...

Time and temp for deer Cochon de lait style. - knuckleballer
Im doing this this weekend in a cajun microwave. I know it's much leaner meat than a pig. I've got a whole carcass split in half at the back bone. Doing one half. Going to marinade it for a day, inject and slice it up like a pig. Any experience on here on time and temperatures foe this lean of meat?...

re: Is every body getting their YETI coolers ready for the 4th? - knuckleballer
I never understood the appeal of being so proud of owning a fricking ice chest that you you have to let everyone know you have one by the bumper sticker on your car.
It's pure marketing genius. I pray to come up with something so mundane that the whole world thinks is so special. F...
