The only time I have had an issue is I gave one of my dogs too much venison scraps, and she threw up. Now when ever I clean up venison i limit the amount, and they do fine....

I do both. For me fishing is something to do when there is nothing to hunt. My son (16) is eaten up with both. So he gets me on the water more than I would on my own. So a win/win....

In a jam you can usually find them at pet store like Petsmart. They also usually have mealworms or wax worms as well....

The Northshore of the lake was a little dirty this afternoon coming home. You can also try bayou lacombe. It is an easy run from the Tchefuncte with the north wind. Can give the kids a 1/4 oz beetle spin a d cast in the marsh, or soak shrimp. ...

With kids if the winds are decent you can try the Causeway (turn arounds) with dead shrimp. Will probably catch some fresh water cats, croaker, and the occasional red. Earlier in the week I saw a good number of Loons along the bridge. ...

I had a buddy who lived in Houston, but loved king cake. So when he would come back for mardi gras he would a bunch of them and bring them to Houston. he then vac sealed them and put them in the freezer. He would not share them with his kids :lol:...
