Looks like our local animal rights extremist is back to his old tricks as hunting season approaches. Buddy of mine who leases property from me, in North Bossier Parish, sent me these pictures over the weekend from the entrance to one of our tracts. Unfortunately he lost two tires. He wasn't sure what he ran over so they got out to check and his father in law stepped on the spike which went through his boot, luckily it went between his toes. This guy has been spiking roads, blowing up deer stands, and burning down camps in our are for the last five years. The frustrating part about it is they are pretty sure they know who it is, but can't make anything stick.

This is still going on?
I thought they nailed some guy with a bunch of the home made spikes at his house.

This is the first I've seen this year, but he usually gets going this time of year. This is actually this first one I've seen on our property, which surprises me, because we have 15k acres in Bossier and it's been going on all around us.

We all know the sheriff and may others in local law enforcement and they've been notified. A lot of those guys are on leases or own property all around the area this is happening in so they've got a vested interest in putting an end to it.
