Then Franchi

No to Remington. Keep your 1100 and 1187 instead of buying the new Remington

Pretty sure Bowie has A5 in bottomland on sale for $1,000. That's a $1700 gun if you're looking for a deal.

I bought an A300 last year. Got it camo for 649 at academy. It was actually listed for around 750 but they price matched a sale at dicks sporting good. I would look around for a deal like that before paying full price.

I love how the gun feels and shoots. Only used it last season but really happy with my purchase. I can't comment on any of the other guns, but I think you would be happy with the outlander

I got an A300 Outlander from Cabelas on sale from $649 in May. It's the "Mallard" edition with a dark green receiver. Shoots great. I've probably put 500 rounds through it, mostly clay loads, with no hiccups. Handles and swings well. I would definitely recommend it.

Another option in the price range is a Winchester SX3. They have good reviews. Know a couole people who have them and love them.

The 1100 is a little old. Got it redone in matte black. Would like to keep either the 1100 or 1187.

I will second the SX3. Live mine. I think the SX4 may be coming out soon. Winchester usually has a mail-in rebate of some sort.

Third vote for the Winchester SX3. I'm biased because that's what I shoot, but to each his own..

SBE II. Last thing you want is a frozen, single shot, gas operated shotgun on a wet, cold day, with mallards in your face.
