I come to the outdoor board pleading for help.

For the life of me I can not find a 2012 Toyota Camry SE outside door handle for the driver's door in metallic black anywhere online.

The dealership wants almost two and a half hundos... for a damn door handle!

Find one used in any color, then pay a body shop $30-50 to paint it.
For a great job and good pricing, call Bruno over at Burbank Body Shop near LSU.

ETA: NM the shop recommendation if you're in Anchorage

I looked at that one too, broke. Comparing the pictures I have of the door handle and of that one on ebay I don't think they match. Yota has a flat black and metallic black with the glitter.

I may use the suggestion of just buying one and taking it to a shop to be painted. That's still cheaper than buying the damn dealership handle.

ETA: in Memphis not anchorage.

beat me to it

Also, it's just a door handle. Order an aerosol can online, scuff it with a red scotch brite pad, clean it with rubbing alcohol, and spray a few coats of paint.

Toyota paint code is located in the driver door jamb, or on the driver door itself.
On the sticker, it will read C/TR. The 3 digit numbers/letters after that are your paint code.
Example:

Memphis

Call your local Dupont distributor, and ask them who they'd recommend for a quick, small job like that.

paint code should be 1E0, 1G3, or 1H2, etc...
Usually number-letter-number on Toyotas

Call the Toyota dealership in New Mexico / American Toyota. Tell them you are a member of ih8mud.com. They will sell it to you at cost.

I see you've found what you needed. I'm just posting this link for the entire OB if you are having problems finding parts for an older vehicle. I just last week ordered and received a driver's side window for a 1987 Chevy II Nova (Toyota built). Try finding one of those windows at a junkyard or dealer. Cost me 40 bucks for the window and 20 bucks shipping. These folks have an unbelievable inventory of replacement parts for all vehicles, especially older vehicles. Got my window in three days, too. Straight up folks to deal with. LINK
