I ran across these vids posted on another forum.
Very interesting stuff.
Each video is about 15 minutes long but worth watching. They show real life examples and techniques for self defense, home defense, etc.

First Person Defense

*ETA, two episodes I have watched so far have starred Louisiana natives.

VATA is based on the Northshore. Good guys to train with but I think both Destin and Greg are downrange for the next 18 mo. Highly recommend their classes though.

Thanks-I will look at the after work today.
Took a class, but can't hurt to have a look at these.

VATA offers some really good classes. They are not cheap, but if you want to get some real life training these guys know their stuff.

It's good to know how to shoot paper standing still, but that's not gonna save your life. The tactics these guys train on save lives for sure.

That looks like a very good class to take.

After checking out the VATA site their prices really aren't that bad for the instruction level you seem to get. I may look into taking one from them thanks for the link
