Cant afford Cocodrie this weekend, so we're gonna drag the boat over to Alabama and ride around.

Any suggestions on some fishing strategies we could try in a bay boat out of Dauphin Island? i'm sure we'll do the Dixie thing at sometime.

Other entertainment?

Where do you want to go? The cut should be hopping right now.
Only fish Dixey on a falling tide.
Just north of the island west of the bridge is two small islands. Should be some specks and white trout there.

Ill be out there in 2 weeks. Keep us updated in how you do. My buddy caught some huge trout around Ft. Morgan last year.

We went out about a week ago and fished the big Exxon rig just east when you launch by the ferry. We were catching specs on every cast there first thing around 6am.

Sand Island was also on and popping too. We limited out by 11am.

It's on the gulf side of Daulphin Island. You can google Sand Island Mobile AL.

10/person. Pretty sure it's 16" or 18". We usually fish on either side of the bridge on north side of the island. Trout like to run on both sides of the ship channel when the tide is moving.
