My MJs have the "smoke" dark black lens. I don't wear sunglasses unless I really need them, and they help out tremendously. Much better than squinting. Their different color lenses all have different uses. I can't remember them all, but you should be able to find out on their website

My Optometrist swears by MJ's. Says they are the best on the market. She also sells Coasta's but told me if I ever wore a pair of MJ's I would throw my Coasta's away. I told her she was FOS and that her margins must be better on the MJ's but I have yet to take her up on the challenge.

I disagree and I've owned both

i mean,i like the green lenses for the Costas for inshore fishing. My main concern is how the MJ's stack up to those green lenses since they don't offer them.

You're talking about mirrors, not lenses. Costa does not make a green lens. The lens is either copper or Amber.

i get my oakleys through US Standard Issue cause I am a vet and govt contractor

Just looked at their website... Polarized starting at $150 and go into the $300+ range... Comparable pricing at best, and I'll take Costa's (any flavor of lens) over any Oakley lenses, but just MHO

I cry at what I have to pay for sunglasses since I need an RX in mine on top of this because I am pretty well a blind frick without them.

I hope you're not using the Duck Commander guys as a point of reference for quality? Those guys are cashing in on everything. They will put their name on anything. Saying that it must be good because Duck Commander uses it is ridiculous.

Used to be true when they had Benelli and even Browning as sponsors. Mossturd. GTFO.....

I sent a pair in that were about 10 years old.

Rubber was totally gone off ear pieces, mostly off of nose piece, lens were scratched.

$11.00, new pair.

The Cs popped off my frame and the lens coating was coming off. Sent them in and in about 4-5wks I got back a brand new pair.
I have no complaints, well worth the small cost for processing etc.

If you wear costas I certainly hope you aren't worried about being cool. Just saying.

Costas are definitley not "cool" or "trendy". Not that there's anything wrong with that. They're good glasses. Overpriced though.

The "C" on one side of the frame popped out. Will they replace that?
