a tree service here will give you all the wood you want FREE but it takes planning and a log splitter and do it in the spring

Find a hardwood mill, they usually cut the ends of and split them for firewood. I spend about $100/yr and heat my house with a fireplace most of the winter.

I let people have all the wood they want and they can have oak or whatever kind they want. It does take planning bc Im not paying my guys to wait on you but we will load your trailer for you and you can have all you will haul. Saves me from hauling off so I dont mind.

I charge $100 for my truck bed full delivered within reasonable distances. Some people charge way more, some people way less.
