Someone started a thread about 4:30 and it got anchored. I thought about starting one a six, but didn't take the bait.

Most average 3-5 years depending on specialty. Some are longer. Then there's fellowships after that for subspecializing. The whole time you're getting paid as much as a waiter working 80 hours a week minimum and having to start paying off st least 200,000 in student loans.
Such a fun time.

I mean he is up there at 5:00 am looking in top notch form doing rounds then he is there all day them usually the last one I see. This is the resident for my ENT doc. H has several residents under him. This guy I see a lot seems to be the most junior of the bunch.

varies. 3 years minimum.
What do they get paid? I know it varies but damn, they work a lot of hours.
I made $32,000 yr 1, $34,000 yr 2, $36,000 yr3. After your first year you can go out and work ER on your on for extra money. Wasn't nothing for me to work 120 hours a week.

Standard issue nose feeding tube as far as I know.
It hangs out if my nostril and has a little valve assembly on the end of it. Hook up a big syringe of water or the "nutrients" to it and let her eat.

When we divided our pay by the hours we worked, we made less than half of minimum wage. Not to mention never being at home to eat so your food bill is huge.

Hey doc I gotta question. My boss man got O157:H7, the doctors had him on every antibiotic they had for a few days and I'm sure they will have to repopulate his intestinal bacteria. Are they really going to give him someone else's shite through a tube to do this?

Stool transplant are done to cure some infections. However, I don't think there is anyone in AR or LA doing them.
