Got them on my cock and balls on Memorial Day. Itched for about two weeks and my girl made me go get a herp test.

It was so disheartening and terrifying to see all those pretty girls at the planned parenthood clinic getting treated for god knows what, and the doctors there don't give a single shite. One of them just came out to this cute girl next to me in the waiting (to pay) room and said "make sure you come back in 3 months"

frick chiggers

I had those from throwing my work shirt on the ground during high school and then putting it on and tucking it in. Had them on the back of my right calf, inside of my left knee, and between my arse cheeks close to my "netherest" of regions.

Tried a bleach bath, didn't work. Tried alcohol, too. I had already itched and irritated it enough that I got a staph infection at all three sites. Only been more miserable than that once in my life, but it was close. Lasted about ten days, and only got better after Benadryl, hibiclense washing, and copious amounts of steroids and antibiotics.

Long story short, don't itch those MFers.

Oh sex is off the table. Anyone who sees this will undoubtedly never speak to me again. St. Pete girls probably haven't seen anything like this...outside of planned parenthood.

Got them one good time surveying in the woods off of Burbank and Ben Hur. Talking about under armpits, back of knees, up and down legs, arse crack, waist, sack... Got damn that was miserable. I don't go in the field much, if at all anymore but when I do, I fear more for them lil red dot bastards than any snake or spider I may come across. Beforehand I put on a shite ton of baby powder and OFF, tight roll jeans and pull socks over them, and tuck shirt into underwear. Haven't gotten a single bite in the last 7-8 years...Knock on wood.

Feel for you my man.

Nothing but time. Next time you go in the woods, spray your boots and pants legs with Off. Or tie a handkerchief full of kerosene around your ankles.

If the chiggers in MS are giving you trouble then do not, I repeat, DO NOT, get mixed up with them in TX. I've gotten into them in TX twice and those bastards over there are the absolute worst.

put a dab of clear finger nail polish on each of the bites that you haven't scratched. Since youre a bama fan, you can use pink or something like that.

It seals it, keeps it from itching, and suffocates the little bastards.

Weird trick, but it works. Just dont do the ones that are opened up from scratching. That hurts like a bitch.

Keep 'em scratched real good for a couple of weeks, they'll eventually heal up.

ive had them worse before. When I was a younger lad I got into a little trouble with the law and got assigned community service. The first 32 hours consisted of things like cutting grass at the county parks and emptying trash cans at the county parks.

The last 8 hours ended up being one the worst days, labor and consequences wise, of my life. August in Florida and it had been raining all week, but on Saturday there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Myself, two other outlaw rascals, and about 30 prisoners were tasked with clearing saplings behind a ball field that lied next to a brackish canal, so we're basically treading through a swamp in 100 degree heat and hacking down trees and then dragging them to the woodchipper. We did that for 8 hours. The next day, from armpit to ankle and all points in between, it looked like I'd been sandblasted.

And it was still august in Florida, and I still had to go to my night job at UPS and load boxes into a trailer with no ventilation. Just absolute misery

A common myth about chiggers is that they burrow into and remain inside the skin. This is not true. Chiggers insert their feeding structures into the skin and inject enzymes that cause destruction of host tissue. Hardening of the surrounding skin results in the formation of a feeding tube called a stylostome.

I guess bed bugs do the same damage. Chiggers are bad but bed bugs are much worse.
