One of my rural properties is right on the zone of one bar/no bars. Are there any inexpensive, mobile cell signal extenders? Older phones had a port you could screw an external antenna in, but not iPhones (to my knowledge). I spend a good bit of time in a deer stand there and enjoy perusing tiktok, etc. iPhone 15 pro if that matters.

Before any starts with "get off your phone and hunt" or "enjoy the quiet," I don't even shoot deer, I just like the food plot prep, refilling feeders, cutting shooting lanes, building stands, etc., part of it.

Most cell boosters work off a connected internet connection. Wilson may make one where you don’t need it. You may can buy a vehicle booster and mount at your camp.
I have some Police Departments that use them in their cars and work well. It will boost a signal not create one.

Elon's Star Link.

You could try changing simm cards/carriers although, the general rule is Verizon has the best remote coverage unless, maybe, if you're near a major interstate you might be able to piggy back off of one of the others by changing.

I have one of these & it works great. You need power though. I'm sure you could hook it up to a 12v battery with a power inverter. Not sure if you want to spend that much though.

I put this one up a few weeks ago just because I didn’t have service inside my camp. Would drop a call, struggle to send a text, couldn’t check the weather etc. now I have 2-3 bars and can stream a video.

We have the $399 HiBoost at the camp and it makes one room tolerable if you stand in the right spot. Better than it used to be for sure. But we just use WiFi calling unless power is out.

We got the Verizon version, if that matters.

Our problem is trees and hills. Can only get green signal on one of the towers nearby

If you are looking for a portable one I have had 2 and they don't seem to work particularly well. Once I fire them up and put phone in the cradle my bars jump from 1 to 2 or 3 even bars. I still have lot of trouble even sending a text with 3 bars through a signal booster.

Use this at a ranch in Mexico when I try to text or call into the U.S. Very mixed results but for the most part they have not been that good. Going from 1 bar to 3 bars is great and all at first glance but iphone doesnt' send or received any better. Most of the time I don't even bother with it anymore.

Bought my second one about 5-6 years ago but maybe the newer ones are better.
