CCA Tagged Redfish Caught

CCA registered angler has possibly caught the 1st tagged red. Depending on results of polygraph, he will win the truck. He was in a yak behind GI.

When they posted the pic of the fish caught over the weekend by the lady who was unregistered I knew the kayak launch would probably be packed. I'm guessing it's likely the same fish.

Rad said its almost definitely the same fish. Bet old boy with a new truck is glad that girl didn't filet that red.

Every angler that catches a tagged fish is subject to a polygraph. People do cheat ya kno. Who knows, that guys 2nd cousin could have caught that fish.

I wasn't insinuating foul play. Only saying it was probably the same fish. I've caught the same red twice, days apart, more than once.

I almost signed up before I went out this morning but I didn't ... I almost didn't even want to catch a redfish or big trout

Word on the street is that old boy posts here and that he is indeed glad that girl released that red again!
FWIW, even though I had seen the picture posted last week and knew exactly where it was, I didn't head to G.I. with the sole purpose of beating those rocks all day in the hopes of catching the tagged red. In fact, over the 2 days I spent down on the island, I fished those rocks maybe for one hour total and caught 2 reds on the whole trip. Most of my time was spent loading up on trout around Dutch Island!
