February/March is when I do it. Not sure I'd like it in the heat. Got stung by a bunch of wasps once and never went back in the warm months.

GTFR, working on Dauber for a frogfest next weekend, June 11-12.

Then again in October/November.
Nothing like having the whole lake to yourself.

Whats ya'lls method of catching?
When we had crawfish lakes and I frogged, it was by hand while leaning over the front deck of the crawfish boat.

The vibration keeps them up but if the wake hits them they're gone temporarily.

Bullfrogs love to eat baby crawfish.
They'll eat some pretty decent sized ones. Often they have a few in their bellies when we clean them.

It'll be on a weeknight more than likely. I'll call.

Man there's no water around here to speak of and we've been out of the crawfish bidness for quite a while; otherwise, I'd gladly take you.

Are there any bayous by you? I've never been frogging in one but have heard you can catch some. Water so low, a man with a kayak...

I'm leaving for New York in the morning. Would love to if I wasn't. I wouldn't mind being the camp dog and cooking/drinking some beer while you & CO. filled a sack.

You talking about the one with the big fire place? Hadn't stayed there in years. Not even sure how to get to it but I would find it if I were here. We were always so pickled when we got there.

Hand catch

friend of mine had a lab that would catch them for us if we'd hold the spot light back in high school
