I will be there tomorrow...

John's will be Monday...

The outpouring of support has been so great that the funeral service had to be moved to the Slidell Municipal auditorium in order to accommodate everyone wanting to pay their respects...

Says so much for John's charachter and how many people's lives he touched...

Prayers sent from Houston. I hope you are able to be a rock for those children and make a difference in their lives.

Was a friend of mine for over the last decade.

We were part of the old school mma community out of Slidell

We all were together for a reunion late august.

He will be missed

I just had to bring this up...I know many may have been wondering, because of the news reports,

The LSP toxicology reports came back negative...

investigation also revealed that the wheel studs stripped/broke causing him to lose control.

we're all upset that most news reports focused on a toxicology report and had to paint a bad picture of John...

His wife and kids will be staying at our house for as long as it takes for her to get used to the idea of going back to a home without him...

note: his friend Daniels funeral is this morning at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Slidell...anyone that knew him are welcome to attend...It is asked that everyone wear a sports jersey in honor of Daniel...special instructions were given...NO BAMA JERSEYS.

Thanks for the update about this. The human side of me was kind of wondering about the legal repercussions of the possible incident regarding how the news outlets portrayed the incident. I'm glad to hear this. May his family eventually find peace. I don't know how, I don't know when. When there's kids involved, its beyond heart breaking.

Wouldn't be the first time the news reporters screwed the pooch.

Just a bad deal and a stark reminder we live in an imperfect world. My heart just breaks for those young'uns.
