re: What is a good depth for home swimming pool? - ClarkGriswold
My pool depth/slope goes from 3 to 6 feet. You can cannonball and/or flip from the flagstone ledge of the hot tub into the deep end but NO DIVING for obvious reasons. I debated about having the pool deeper for diving but after much consideration and talking to others, that portion of the pool will e...

re: What zero turn do I need? - ClarkGriswold
Not necessarily. Not sure about your dad but I tend to cut full speed ahead. My neighbors laugh at how quick I zip around the trees and back and forth on the property. There are a few trees with green stripes on them lol. But I cut so close that i don't have to weed eat which is nice....

I would say it's possible. I have 4 acres with approximately 30 trees and can cut it in an hour and ten minutes with a John Deere 60" deck...

re: First movie that ever scared the hell out of you? - ClarkGriswold
Alien. I was 7 or 8 years old when it came out on VHS and my older brother rented it. I remember lying on the floor on my stomach, lights off, watching most of the movie through the spaces between my fingers because I had my hands covering my face lol...

re: OT Bikers, opinions on the Can-Am 3 wheelers? - ClarkGriswold
As a biker, I don't consider myself a biker snob regarding the type of bike. To me, it's not what they ride as much as it is how they ride. If they ride like jerks or idiots speeding and weaving through traffic, well bye. And I've had patients who had to give up their two wheeled bikes for a 3 wh...

re: Just found out that my maid (Updated on Pg. 7) - ClarkGriswold
My maid brings her kids from time to time and doesn't ask before hand. She gets paid a flat rate so time doesn't matter as long as she does the work. She's taken naps before, gone swimming in the pool, etc. As long as my house is clean when I get home on Fridays, I'm happy. Besides, she has text me...

re: Single and dating at 40 = SUCKS - ClarkGriswold
It sounds like you're on the right track man!! The more relaxed, casual, yet confident (not arrogant or cocky) you are, the easier it is. Like I said, don't let your last situation bum you out. ...

re: Single and dating at 40 = SUCKS - ClarkGriswold
Not at all. Having lost both of my parents at a young age and a son, as well as having a strong faith, I don't fear death. Besides, IMO we all die alone, whether someone is holding your hand or not. ...

re: Single and dating at 40 = SUCKS - ClarkGriswold
Hang in there man. I'm 41 and single and life has never been better. No wife or gf to bitch when I work late or go fishing or hunting. No gold-digger in my bank accounts. Don't feel pressured to settle. Most of the girls I see think they can make me settle down and I'm always up front and say it's p...

re: Favorite home-made jelly..Mayhaw vs Muscadine...or.. - ClarkGriswold
No cedar trees nearby. I am trying to lay out my orchid appropriately as I plan on planting other fruit trees such as apple, peach, nectarine, satsuma, etc.. while keeping in mind which type of insects each tree attracts and the pesticides which may be harmful to other trees. ...
