Picture was posted on Facebook group " Louisiana hunting land and leases". Guy asked what everyone thought. Sorry I can't link it but the comments are classic and completely expected

quote:

Black panthers! Seen several in Louisiana last couple years

quote:

Game warden can say what he wants I know I've seen one before in kisatchie national forest

quote:

Craig G Buddy Kimble lmao I'm fricking Captain America and that's a mama cat and cub

quote:

I seen a black cat in sherburne about 15 years ago

quote:

I live in Denham Springs Louisiana in the Watson area and we had a large black cat spotted several times. Once by truck driver when it ran across in front of him and stop by the edge of the road, twice by residence in your subdivision I live in drinking out the back pond at night, running across field spooking cattle.

quote:

Black panther & her cub. U can not shot them unless u can prove they r trying to a tack u we had four on our lease we talked to the WLF about all that. I've done seen some but hearing them makes the hair on the back of ur neck stand up

Found a post on an Arkansas board from over a year ago with the same picture. Consensus there seems to be a black lab and a fat black cat roaming around (trying to get a Homeward Bound remake??).

Someone actually points out that the larger "cat" looks like its lifting its leg and urinating on the feeder.

They "sound like a woman cryin'." According to some of my neighbors, we have several in our area outside of Folsom. Like 10 or 12!

I haven't seen any yet, but I've only lived here about a year.

You'll see them. Just give it time.

Put some shrimp on your back porch. I've heard they love shrimp

One of the comments on the site linked to:

I'm not worried about the two panthers, but there appears to be a juvenile squatch in the background.

Yep, legs catch my attention.

Seems more like dog legs on the big one and house cat legs on the little one. Looks like two buds out for a roam and scenting a feeder with dawg.

Every ne here knows how much I hunt. Im amazed at how many black panthers there are and yet ive never seen one. 4-5 trail cams going at the same time and all that time in the woods and I cant see one but some of these people have 4 or 5 on their lease
