Me and a few friends are looking to go on an inshore Charter somewhere on the Louisiana coast. We are out of Baton Rouge so anywhere on the coast is doable. Most of my experience is in the Golden Meadow, Leeville, GI areas so i would like to try something different.
Whats is the best area and what are some good charters?

Travis Miller with Millertime Charters in Dularge. This guy will bust his arse to put you on some fish. Going back with him at the end of next month. Lots of guides to choose from, but hes at the top of my list. Good luck!

We recently used Captain Frank of Laid Back Charters out of Grand Isle and we were very pleased. He worked hard to find the trout - 54 between 4 of us, in less than desirable conditions. Great guy to be around and highly recommend him.

I bet he is a good dude.
I talked to them (Sweetwater employees) on the phone a few times and 2 times in person while we were down there and they were beyond helpful, nice and and accommodating.
Definately a stand-up operation and if I ever hire a guide down there it will probably be Capt Jack due to their previous customer service.
ETA:
I have put that in the past
