This can happen when the gun is new it takes about 500 rounds before it hums along. One thing is make sure he is off the trigger between each shot...

I call BS also. Hunted with my SBE1 in Dalhart, Tx in blowing sand/snow. Only gun that kept shooting was my Benelli or pump. ALL the gas autos became single shots. Happened on multiple trips. Beretta is good but not better in my opinion(owned an Extrema and let my son in law have it). Shoot what you like.

The gun is about 4 years old and has been used a bunch. He hunts about 4 days a week and takes his gold hunter now.

yes and love it. very light and the kickoff system absorbs the recoil.

Highly recommend.

We all have gun failure stories – my uncle had his SBE turn into a single shot gun when temps are very cold (below 10 deg). This is common for his SBE and he has to be really careful w/ how much and the type of oil he uses. While my 391 urika works like a charm at those temps. Bottom line is the itailian B guns are the class of autoloaders now – get one that fits you and you wont regret it

Interesting. We had an issue with Extrema #1 and it worked itself out over time - mostly from having a bunch of shells run through it.

Ontario, my point exactly. They are both good. Shoot what you like.

Even outside of Beretta, anyone have problems with gas guns in extremely cold weather. I was planning on looking gas gun as my next purchase.
