Thanks. My dad and I take a fishing trip every year.
You better get in with him now if you can. He is very popular on the river.
The producers of Bill Dance's show told him they would put his info up at the end of the show and to expect to be flooded with calls from all over the country. It should air later this year.
Even if you can't get in with him, he has other guys that guide for him.

That's just a few places down from where we always stay when we go. I always stay at Dale Fulton's. I've gotten to know Dale pretty well and it's a great set-up. He has boats if you want to rent them but we usually just wade.
Bunches of fish in that river.
Also, as to the shad kill. Temps really need to get to and stay below freezing for about 4-5days before you get a shad kill. It hasn't been anywhere near cold enough this year, yet.

Yeah, Fulton's was next door basically.
Those camps are everywhere, but vrbo is pretty slender pickings. That's how I found the place we stayed.
My family had a lake house on Norfork Lake in the 90's. This is the first time I had been back in 15 years, so it was almost like starting over having to find a place to stay.

I went in October. It was very fun. The only problem I had was that it rained for a day and half straight. Still fished but damn was it cold.

Going to Norfork for some striper fishing in March. While we are there we will undoubtedly do a little trout fishing. Grew up going to my grandparents house and guide service. Not much better than sitting on the dock on a warm summer day.
