we only adopt dogs from the shelters

We adopted this Golden Doodle from a poodle rescue in Pensacola LINK, she was used for breeding and then given up when she got to old. Best dog we have had, the scottish terrier included. I think we paid $500 in adoption fees and she came with all her papers. Best thing about her is she does not shed, or I don't see it. The scottish terrier definitely sheds more.

Here she is when she is shaggy

I just wish any of the poodle varieties didn't look like crap.

We have a "mini" golden doodle. Half poodle, half golden doodle. We read this version sheds the least. She's awesome, smart and so shedding

We have a 1 year old Australian Labradoodle. I thought my wife had lost her mind when she told me she wanted a $2500 dog, but he's turned out to be all that she said he'd be. I had to drive to Atlanta to pick him up. We used to have a GSD and the hair was like tumbleweeds in my house, so after he passed we didn't want to fight the hair anymore but still wanted a big dog. He doesn't shed at all, no dander, and is very smart and great with the kids. If they weren't so expensive I'd get another one. I like the Goldendoodles, but I have heard some of them shed.

My cousin has one and it is a great dog. Last year when I was sidedressing corn I was off the tractor checking something and her dog was running around in the field. Before I got back on the tractor it had laid down by one of the assist wheels on the sidedresser. I sent her this picture and said I was sorry and she about stroked out.

Best dog I've ever experienced. Super smart, no shedding, adorable. Get a brown or black one; they look great as adults.
