Anyone here own multiple pairs of Costa Del Mar sunglasses?

Is it good to have a blue lens style and another pair that's green mirror lens?

Better to have a pair of costas for fishing, etc and a pair of MJ's for driving, leisure, etc.

Theoretically you want either blue or green lens for clear skies, and an amber lens color for overcast days.

Used to until my bro lost my green mirror ones.
I do not plan on buying another pair, although the blue lens are very dark.

Yep. I have a pair of Swordfish with green mirror tint, and a pair of Harpoons with blue. I usually wear the green(amber) while fishing and the blues for driving and everyday use.

I have a pair of 580 g blue mirror i wear everyday and use to fish, i have a spare pair pair of 400g blue i use sometimes to fish or just have an extra pair for a buddy. I have a broke pair of 400g camo blue lens sitting in my closet i need to send off to have new lenses. i will say this the 580G is a better quality then 400G. after owning both i always wear the 580s

Green lens is an amber base.
I own a pair of each. I use the blue lens for driving/offshore. I use the green in the lake.
ETA-Raybans are my daily glasses though.

I thought they were smoke colored... maybe they come in both. I don't celebrate the entire Costa line.
I guess I should say lens color from outside is not a determining factor.
From inside (your view) you want a smoke and an amber colored field of view with the glasses on. The color of the mirroring on the outside is your choice.

Blue for deep water green and amber for shallow. It's good to have options.
