Is there any hope for catching fish sometime this week with the rivers on the rise?

We drove down to Cocodrie this morning to fish this afternoon and tomorrow. It's, ummm, a little breezy.

If I don't get called into work I'm gonna give it a shot. Will probably fish shrimp on the bottom

Went to Hopedale today. The variety of fish we caught is pretty crazy. I was fishing with shrimp on the bottom. Pulled in a decent sized speck, threw right back in the same spot and hooked a nice sized bass, threw again and caught a bream, then a black drum, then a sheepshead.

Though the only real noteworthy part which I guess could be called a fishing report was that we caught some bull reds by the MRGO rock dam near Breton Sound Marina. Same method, shrimp on bottom.
